North Korea is practically always on the news, but this time they might just have taken their media presence a bit too far by seeking out attention for the most dangerous things.
Of course, this will not be a first for the country led by Kim Jong-un, who many believe to be a dictator. However this one is causing quite a stir. North Korea just recently announced that they had just successfully tested out a hydrogen bomb. It’s probably won’t be as hard to figure out the basics of what any bomb can do. History has put things in perspective for us i.e. Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Iraq, Pearl Harbor, Iran, Afghanistan, etc However, we decided to find out exactly what a Hydrogen bomb is and how much destruction it can cause. To put things in perspective, atomic bombs are deadly, but hydrogen bombs are way worse. An explosion will cover approximately three times the radius of an atomic bomb, plus it has terrible longer lasting damage and more destructive power. Imagine the “many years after” effects of Hiroshima, well a Hydrogen bomb is possibly 200 times larger and has a blast equivalent of about 4 million tons of TNT. Crazy right!
See video below for explosion impact.
There’s so much more to know about hydrogen bombs around the internet and maybe now you can understand what all the fuss is about with regards to them testing out a Hydrogen bomb.
