Jony Ive is the Chief Design Officer for Apple. Yeah.. no big deal! He has pretty much designed everything from the MacBook Pro, to the iMac, iPod, iPhone etc. and these days he has ventured into interior design and lets just say his artistic prowess translates well from technology to architecture.
The Jony Ive designed Apple Store store opens up to the public on September 19, but members of the local press got a chance to have a first look. The Apple store is located in Brussels and it boasts of everything from trees, to fancy wooden draws, and a pretty impressive timber display unit. Jony Ive’s work has a lot of minimalist vibes and it can be seen in the design of the store.
In customary Apple Store fashion, everything about the store feels premium and expensive. Check out the photos below and let me know what you think.
