Over the course of the week, we get to see so many images of beautiful room designs. Our weekend roundup of the coolest rooms usually features only the 7 rooms that struck a chord with us. It’s usually hard to narrow the images down to just seven, but we try our best. Most of the images picked this week fall under the minimalist design style, where only a few pieces of furniture and accessories are used to accentuate the rooms. The images we picked are a mix between feminine and masculine styles.
We hope you like the rooms featured this week. Check back for more rooms next week.
This room was picked because of the beautiful windows and the pretty moldings on the walls. Also, something about incorporating plants into rooms seem to score major points with us. We do like to give Kudos to the people who have green thumbs and can manage to keep a plant alive for longer than we can.
This room was picked because somehow, it was able to take the color pink, which can be an over powering color, and incorporate it nicely into the room. We are not the greatest fans of using pink when it comes to designs because if not used properly, designs can go very wrong. This room finds just the right balance to making the color pink work.
We love bathrooms because sometimes, they are usually not that large, but if done well, can make huge statements. This bathroom is an example. The wallpaper used helps the bathroom stand out, and the deviation from the regular ceramic sinks by using a sink framed in chrome is a win in our books.
This room is so simple, yet so striking. We love the chandelier, the ottoman and the fretwork bombe dresser used in this room. The wall color also helps to tie all these pieces together, making it one amazing room.
We love anything brass or copper, so picking this room was a no brainer. This room has various interesting pieces in it. The face vase on the table by Jonathan Adler is also an item we have on our wish list, so given that this room incorporates all things we love, it had to be included on this list.
This last room shows us that bold colors are really not the enemy. The dark navy blue walls are bold, the geometric rug is bold, but somehow, this room is still able to strike the perfect balance, which is why it made the list on as one of the seven coolest rooms of the week.
