The rate at which flights are disappearing is quite disturbing. The year is almost over and everyone still has questions about the MH370 Malaysia Airlines flight. Yesterday, an AirAsia Indonesia plane lost contact with air traffic control around 7:24am local time after taking off from Surabaya, Indonesia. It was scheduled to land in Singapore an hour later.

AirAsia Flight QZ8501 has officially been declared missing after it requested for an alternative route due to bad weather. Search and rescue operations are underway.
